London Marathon 2015 fundraiser

On April 26th 2015, Karl will be running 26 arduous miles or 42 grueling kilometres around London's most iconic landmarks. See what's in store for him by clicking the course map below:

Karl aims to raise £1500 in sponsorship. All money raised is spent on enhancing and enriching the lives of the tenants at the Rossendale Trust. This might be toward improved environments for learning or simply to enable participation in a fun experience or activity.

The Rossendale Trust provides Supported Living care to adults with learning and physical disabilities. They aim to create an environment where everyone is encouraged to reach their full potential. Supported living helps the tenants develop their life skills, increase their confidence and independence by supporting them to live a full and meaningful life.





Preparation
Karl is a keen runner and enjoys participating in Parkruns especially Bramhall Park and Lyme Park. Since committing to the London Marathon he has stepped up his training and is working hard to become fit enough to get around the 26 miles next spring. Half Marathon
As final preparation for the London Marathon, Karl intends to complete a half marathon early next year.
